ROLE PLAY CONTEST: PRESIDIANS ENACT WITH FULL PRIDE & CONFIDENCE

Role Play is universally recognized as an integral factor in the learning and development process of students. It not only develops self efficacy in children, but also leads to cognitive, language, social and emotional development. Considering this thought, Presidium Faridabad recently organized a Role Play Competition for the students of grades 1 to 3, in collaboration with the Ring Side View Academy. The students came beautifully dressed up along with their props as their favourite characters from Panchatantra / Fairy Tale stories and enacted their role with full pride, confidence and oomph. It was astonishing to see the conviction, with which they presented their dramatic skills. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for them as they had immense fun with their friends.
BUDDING GOLFERS SEEK TO LEAD IN THE INTER-CLUB GOLF COMPETITION
The objective of golf is not just to win, it is to play like a gentleman and win!
Seeking to carve future golfers from current protégés, Presidium Faridabad organized an Inter-Club Golf Competition recently for grades 6 to 10. The competition was held among the six clubs of the schools. All the players participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. The spectators were rendered awestruck with stupendous sports skills of each participating student and applauded with thunderous exuberance. Each one tried to outshine the other with brilliance and showed their mettle. It was an awe-inspiring experience for the supporters and spectators.
SPECIAL ASSEMBLY OF MAHASHIVRATRI PORTRAYS OUR RICH HERITAGE
With the purpose of introducing young Presidians with the rich and vibrant festivals of India, a special assembly was conducted on the occasion of Mahashivratri for Grades Pre-Nursery to Grade 3 at Presidium, Faridabad recently. The assembly commenced with a prayer, followed by a pledge by students to become responsible citizens. Students came dressed-up as Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, and Lord Ganesha emphasizing the vitality of the festival. Additionally, an insightful speech was delivered stating the significance of this festival. The assembly culminated with a melodious classical song on Mahashivratri presented by young students. Altogether, the celebrations reflected simplicity, creativity accompanied by spirituality throughout.
PRESIDIANS HAVE A GALA TIME FEASTING AT CHOCOLATE MUFFIN DAY
Little Presidians of grades nursery to 2 celebrated ‘Chocolate Muffin Day’ at Presidium, Faridabad recently. The kids had a great time at the feast and treat, where they enjoyed their favorite chocolate muffin snacks. Along with the goodies, they were educated about the muffin recipes and how heat changes batter from liquid to solid. The kids really enjoyed learning this yummy lesson through experiential learning. Also, they were enquired about different types of muffins available in the market. Overall, it was a wonderful treat and innovative learning method for the little ones.
SOCIAL SCIENCE WEEK: SENSITISING PRESIDIANS ON SOCIAL ISSUES
Social Science is a way which connects the children with the past and relates it to the future!
In order to sensitize students with various social issues and put into practical use all that they have gained through books, 'Social Science Week' was observed at Presidium, Faridabad recently. All through the week, students of Grade 6 to 11 were engaged in a myriad of activities from various subjects such as History, Geography, and Political Science. They were indulged in creative and immersive learning activities such as preparing travel brochures and headline-making activities and enhanced knowledge in discussing burning issues in the society, designing preambles, participated in group discussions on social issues, like women empowerments and amendments in Indian Constitutions, etc. The social science week was an informative and educative week which helped the Presidians enjoy social science lessons with intent and vigour and look beyond the confines of books for knowledge and learning.
CITATION CEREMONY RECOGNIZES VIVID TALENTS OF PRESIDIANS
A citation ceremony was held recently, at Faridabad to give recognition to the talents of the outgoing students and to encourage flourish in times to come. During the ceremony, each student appearing for the class XII board exam was felicitated with a citation. The framed citations highlight their talents and achievements in the years gone by. The inspiring words on them motivated the students to excel in their life and be what they want to be. The ceremony culminated with 'showers of blessings' by the teachers and the heads of the institution. It was a sentimental moment for the students, heads, teachers, and the parents.
TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP: ARDENT PARTICIPATION BY MOTIVATED STUDENTS

To spread the art of Taekwondo in the school and to tap the real, unexplored talents in our students of grades 1 to 10, an Inter Class/Club Taekwondo championship was recently organized at Presidium, Faridabad. The Presidians became the centre of attraction with their impeccable kicks, punches, and blocks and recorded their impressive victory at the championship. Taekwondo taught students the value of discipline and the value of sports in our lives.
PATRIOTIC FERVOUR AT ITS BEST ON THE 69TH REPUBLIC DAY
Every national day holds utmost significance for Indians and its imperative for us that our students realise the same at this tender age. The 69th Republic Day was celebrated recently at Presidium Faridabad with patriotic zeal among students. The celebrations began with the customary unfurling of the National Flag. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to uphold the integrity, diversity, and uniqueness of our country. They also gave a captivating dance performance, dressed in tricolour and dancing to the tunes of the melodious music. The students cherished the memories and promised to lead the nation towards prosperity.
ENCOURAGING IMAGINATION & CREATIVITY WITH PUPPET MAKING CONTEST
In order to promote and encourage creativity among students, Presidium Faridabad recently organized a puppet making competition for grade 4 and 5 students. They put their best foot forward and took great interest in making beautiful puppets, using different materials like coloured paper, ice cream sticks, gloves and velvet cloth. Some of the themes taken up by the students were family, animals, birds and cartoon characters. The students developed their visual-spatial intelligence and kinesthetic intelligence through this competition, which also developed their creative talent and encouraged their craftsmanship and artfulness.
PRESIDIANS DISPLAY AMAZING PERFORMANCES IN DANCE COMPETITION
Dance is a way to find yourself and lose yourself, all at the same time!
Considering that dance is an effective way to stimulate social interaction, enhance the mood, reduce anxiety and increase self-awareness & self-expression, an Inter-Class Dance Competition was recently organized for students of grades 1 to 3 at Presidium, Faridabad. The students came dressed-up in artistic attires and performed on their favourite dance numbers beautifully, utilizing the stage and props quite wisely. Moving rhythmically to the beats, the Presidians presented themselves with poise. All the participating students competed sportingly against each other and had complete fun. In a nutshell, it was a memorable day for the young Presidians!
