PRESIDIANS SPREAD THE MESSAGE OF LOVE & BROTHERHOOD ON BAISAKHI
India is a land of diversities where people of different religions and cultures live in harmony, which is often seen in the celebration of festivals.
One such festival that also gives the message of love and brotherhood is Baisakhi. This beautiful harvest festival marks the maturing of Rabi crop, when farmers begin harvesting the grain. For the Sikhs, Baisakhi holds even greater significance as it commemorates the day, when the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, established the Khalsa Panth. Thus, in keeping with our tradition of celebrating all festivals with fervour and gaiety, the students of Presidium Faridabad organised a special assembly in a grand manner on account of Baisakhi, wherein they actively participated and performed on varied items like dance, songs and much more. The children came forward to speak about the significance of this important festival and also explained how and why Baisakhi is considered to be a New Year in Punjab.
CONGRATULATING BUDDINGS LEADERS FOR THEIR OLYMPIAD LAURELS
