BADMINTON TOURNAMENT: FARIDABAD WINS 1ST POSITION-UNDER 14 GIRLS

The young Badminton players of Presidium, Faridabad were taken to Presidium, Dwarka 22 to participate in the Inter-Presidium Badminton Championship held on the 27th, 28th and 29th of April 2017.
Presidians were trained systematically by the Sports coaches and the young prodigies were brimming with confidence. As a result of their strenuous practice, they mastered all the techniques of the game. The passionate Presidians turned out to be the pick of the spectators as they kept them busy watching their each move. These confident players had great consistency that enable them to stand invincible and clinch 4 Gold medals. We are proud of our little champs on making the school proud with their remarkable victory.
WORLD DANCE DAY:PRESIDIANS DISCOVER MYSTICISM & BEAUTY OF DANCE
Presidians from Faridabad celebrated 'World Dance Day' with great enthusiasm and fervour. The occasion began with a melodious song and dance sequence performed by the students. They shared their thoughts on the uniqueness of Indian heritage and the beauty of the cultural art form of Dance. Presidians truly celebrated and appreciated a day that represents the various dance forms of the world.
PRESIDIANS BESTOWED WITH RESPONSIBILITIES AT INVESTITURE CEREMONY

With this belief, our Honourable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta presided the event and bestowed the young leaders with responsibilities. The school organised the Investiture ceremony with great gusto. It was a dignified occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a sense of responsibility the new “Prefectorial Body ” is formed every year.
The honourable Chairperson gave away the mementoes to the Prefects and the Principal of the school handed over the flag to them. The Vice Principal Mrs. Madhu Pandey administered the oath to the new Head Boy and the Student Council.The newly inducted Head boy and Head girl proposed the vote of thanks and also showed gratitude to the Chairperson for her encouraging words.
EARTH DAY: PRESIDIANS PLEDGE TO SAVE PLANET EARTH
School premises of Presidium Faridabad was abuzz with activities on the occasion of World Earth Day. Banners and colourful charts were put up, reading "Go Green'' and "Plant a tree today''. Students learnt the importance of preserving planet earth. They painted their thoughts on nature conservation and pledged to prioritize earth protection.
CHAIRPERSON HONOURS STUDENT ACHIEVERS, APRIL2017
Presidium believes in boosting the confidence of students by acknowledging their exceptional talents and achievements. With a view to honouring the young achievers of Presidium, Faridabad, the Chairperson Honours ceremony was organised in a grand manner on 20th April,2017. The achievers were honoured and recognized with a Letter of Appreciation signed by the Chairperson. The awardees were overwhelmed to receive the honour. The proud parents were delighted to see their wards being honoured and acknowledged.
PRESIDIANS PROMULGATED THE REAL HAPPINESS OF BAISAKHI
Wheat Crop is ready for harvest time to rejoice and feel nice and get joyous and celebrate Baisakhi!
Baisakhi is a vibrant harvest festival and this auspicious day is important to the farmers as they offer thanks to the almighty and pray for the good crops in the near future. Taking this thought into consideration, Presidium, Faridabad organised a special assembly on 13th April 2017 on account of Baisakhi wherein the students of pre-primary Grade participated enthusiastically and gave an electrifying dance performance. The significance of the festival was told by grade II students. The students of Grade 7 also presented a group song. In the end, our honourable Vice-principal ma’am enlightened the students with her pearls of wisdom and apprised the children about the importance of this festival.
REVELATION OF IMAGINATIVE AND INNOVATIVE THOUGHTS
Presidium, Faridabad organised an English Storytelling competition for the kids of nursery wherein they showcased their speaking skills amongst the audience beautifully. Through this competition, they learnt good morals and ethical values which further helped them in expanding their imagination and knowledge of the world they live in. Moreover, they learnt to develop vocabulary through listening and speaking along with the technique of using oral language with clarity and voice to communicate a message. Through this competition, they enthralled the audience with their spontaneity and confidence and also competed sportingly against each other. Overall, it was a pleasurable experience.
The first position was bagged by Naisha Singhal, second prize was won by Parishi Kaila, the third position was grabbed by Sara Anand and consolation prizes were given to Vatsal Singh Chonkar, Soham Amit Jha and Parwathy.
EXPLORING THE TRUE RAJASTHAN AT CHOKHI DHANI
Education Tours are very important for the overall development of a student. It gives them an opportunity to learn from their own experiences and that of others. Keeping this in mind, Presidians were taken to Chokhi Dhani (Jaipur) trip, organized by Chapter earth.
Chokhi Dhani village brings to life, a colorful Rajasthani heritage that leaves you awestruck with all the attractions and elements of ethnic culture and tradition. Our excited Presidians were welcomed by the tilak ceremony that reminds of "Padharo mahre des" hospitality of Rajasthan, the mandir, village bazaar, folk dances, animal rides for children, bioscope, village style photo studio, jyotish, mehendi, games zone, open lawns to relax and bond with each other, students relished every moment of this wonderful village theme concept.
INTER CLUB DISPLAY BOARD DECORATION COMPETITION
"Heap on the wood, the wind is chill, but let it whistle as it will, we’ll keep our Christmas merry still."
Christmas is the day that holds all time together. In virtue of that, Presidium Faridabad organized an Inter-club display board decoration competition on 22nd December, 2016. Our young Presidians participated enthusiastically in the competition and showcased their latent creativity. They decorated the soft boards keeping the theme of the festival “Christmas” and “New Year” in their minds. Furthermore, the heart of ‘’Kudos’’ was superlatively ornamented with the glittering ‘’Christmas tree’’ and cottony ’’Snowman’’. The students of all the clubs decorated the boards with cut outs, hangings, ribbons, pictures, chart papers and various other decorative and beautiful materials. The students gave wide shapes to their imaginations by putting their creativity in front of all. At the end of the competition, the Supremes club bagged the first position, the Elites club secured the second position and the Victors club got the third position. All the participants had a fun time filled with jollification and exuberance.
THE STORYTELLERS OF PRESIDIUM FARIDABAD WEAVE A MAGICAL WORLD
Presidium Faridabad encourages positive competition and hopes to bring out the best in all the students through events like 'The storytellers' while ensuring that the children learn through all possible ways- not just through books and classroom teaching but also through reading variety of books and expanding their knowledge of the world around as well as increasing their vocabulary to a great extent.
To prove the above said, Presidium Faridabad organized The Story Tellers- Inter Club Quiz for Classes III – XII. They were based on grammar, books and authors, figures of speech, famous quotes and recognition of audio/video/pictures. The competition was aimed at developing the knowledge among the students through the healthy and highly motivating meet. In spite of being asked some tricky questions, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audiences go ‘Aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. The audience showed their enthusiasm the moment they got a chance to answer. The clubs which clinched the First, Second and Third position respectively were Victors, Supremes, and Maestros. It was a joy to see that the students are readers of some books of famous authors.
