With the same belief, the dedicated teachers at Presidium, Faridabad, constantly try to polish their teaching skills. Understanding that the responsibility to raise a better generation comes on their shoulders, they recently participated in an intensive training program to brushing up their knowledge in preparing concept maps, designing worksheets and knowing learning gaps. Awakening the meticulous craft of teaching, the training session strengthened the teachers' vision to see the uniqueness of their students and make the best of it.

PRESIDIANS EXHIBIT THEIR ORATORY SKILLS AT ELOCUTION COMPETITION
Elocution is the art of learning how to speak correctly and emphasizes correct accent, syntax, pronunciation and tone. With this objective, Presidium, Faridabad organised Elocution competition for the students of different grades. It is an attempt of the school to promote public speaking skills in terms of critical thinking, perfection of speech, message delivery and voice modulation. Such healthy competitions help students gain valuable public speaking skills and confidence.
PRESIDIANS BUILDING SELF-CONFIDENCE AT EXTEMPORE COMPETITION

With the aim to boost confidence in students and make them fearlessly express their views, Presidium, Faridabad organized an Inter-class Extempore for students of Grade IX and X. It was a platform for young and budding orators to be able to express their thoughts with confidence and flair in speech on various topics like demonetization, freedom of press, terrorism and digitization.
Such competitions are conducted at school level for students to speak their heart out. They are aimed at developing oratory skills and promote critical thinking among students and to boost their self-confidence and help them become confident orators in the days to come.
CHERISHING THE EVERLASTING BOND ON INTERNATIONAL DAY OF FAMILIES
‘The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing!’
To cherish and preserve this beautiful bond of love Presidium, Faridabad observed International Day of Families on 15th May 2017 with great enthusiasm. This day reflects the thought that a family is the most important social unit of a society. Following the same thought, Presidians celebrated the day with great enthusiasm in a special assembly. The day specifically highlighted the importance of the senior members of the family and the need to show love, respect and reverence to the elders and caregivers in a family.
Inspired by the beautiful thoughts on the value a family hold in our lives, the students participated in various art and craft activities. They made striking and attractive pop up and heart shaped cards for their families by adding candid photographs and pictures of the family members. The artistically decorated cards reflected their love as well as creative sense.
Such celebrations encourage children in understanding the value of relationships in life and that love makes everything beautiful and strong in a family.
PRESIDIUM’S TAEKWONDO MASTERS ADORN 13 MEDALS AT HARYANA CHAMPIONHIP
Taekwondo champs of Presidium Faridabad have made us proud by winning 13 medals at the 3rd Grand Open National Taekwondo Championship-2017. Presidians proved their martial arts skills amongst more than 250 students from over 30 schools participating in the Championship. Our Taekwondo masters won accolades and medals with their impeccable kicks, punches and blocks and recorded an impressive victory at the Championship.
The achievers are:
1. Yashveer Singh of Grade XI, won a Gold medal in the U-73 Kg category and he also won a Silver medal, a Special Award for Experienced player.
2. Devash Dubey of Grade X, won a Silver medal in U-63 Kg category.
3. Sanjeevni Aggarwal of Grade IX, won a Bronze in medal U-52 Kg category.
4. Sneha Dagar of Grade IX, won a Bronze medal in U-59 Kg category.
5. Janvi Jindal of Grade VII, won a Bronze medal in U-47 Kg category.
6. Kanishika Jindal of Grade III, won a Bronze medal in U-32Kg category.
7. Dimanshu Ahuja of Grade II, won a Bronze medal in U-35 Kg category.
8. Shaurya Mittal of Grade III, won a Bronze medal Over-35 Kg category.

PRESIDIANS EXHIBIT THEIR CONFIDENCE AT DECLAMATION COMPETITION

Declamation is an event which develops the oratory skills of the students and give them an opportunity to express their views in front of the audience without hesitation. Presidium offers a platform to its students to eloquently communicate through the words of wisdom from poets, orators and writers. Presidium, Faridabad organized an ‘Inter class declamation competition’ for Grades VI to VIII on 9th May 2017.
Young Presidians participated enthusiastically with the healthy spirit of competitiveness. It was aimed to enhance communication skills and promote critical thinking among the students.
The students wonderfully presented their views within the given time. They displayed confidence, enthusiasm and alertness while participating in the competition. It was really a wonderful experience for the students to express their feelings and thoughts on a variety of topics.
CELEBRATING A DAY DEDICATED TO THE EPITOME OF LOVE-MOTHERS
BADMINTON TOURNAMENT: FARIDABAD WINS 1ST POSITION-UNDER 14 GIRLS
“Badminton is like dancing, it requires a lot of control, strength, mind-play and measured movements.”
The young Badminton players of Presidium, Faridabad were taken to Presidium, Dwarka 22 to participate in the Inter-Presidium Badminton Championship held on the 27th, 28th and 29th of April 2017.
Presidians were trained systematically by the Sports coaches and the young prodigies were brimming with confidence. As a result of their strenuous practice, they mastered all the techniques of the game. The passionate Presidians turned out to be the pick of the spectators as they kept them busy watching their each move. These confident players had great consistency that enable them to stand invincible and clinch 4 Gold medals. We are proud of our little champs on making the school proud with their remarkable victory.
WORLD DANCE DAY:PRESIDIANS DISCOVER MYSTICISM & BEAUTY OF DANCE
Presidians from Faridabad celebrated 'World Dance Day' with great enthusiasm and fervour. The occasion began with a melodious song and dance sequence performed by the students. They shared their thoughts on the uniqueness of Indian heritage and the beauty of the cultural art form of Dance. Presidians truly celebrated and appreciated a day that represents the various dance forms of the world.
