The SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth) is a voluntary youth movement which promotes intangible aspects of Indian Cultural Heritage. In order to achieve its goals, SPIC MACAY organizes concerts, workshops, and talks by eminent scholars and thinkers. To enhance love for Indian culture and heritage among the youth, Ms. Kavita Dwibedi, daughter and disciple of Odissi maestro Guru Harekrishna Behera, was cordially invited to Presidium, Faridabad. She enlightened the students about the passion and the ecstasy that various dance forms gift to the human soul. The students tapped their feet to the classical music echoing in the air and enjoyed the special performance. They were inspired by the rich Indian cultural heritage as well as got a deeper knowledge of the classical dance forms. Watching the legends perform in their very exotic style made the workshop a great experience for the students as well as teachers.
