Discussion is an exchange of knowledge and a lively discussion is usually helpful. In order to enhance the oratorical skills of our young Presidians, an Inter-Class Debate Competition was organised for grades 11 and 12 on a very pertinent topic - 'democracy is the best form of government'. The students were divided into two groups - one in support and one in against the topic. While the supporting group spoke out with confidence that democratic government provides freedom of expression to its citizens, the opposing group said that democratic form of government goes slack and the citizens take undue advantage. The interesting and healthy discussion came to the conclusion that democracy should be judiciously utilized both politically and personally. At the end of the competition, the judges appreciated the participants for their energetic and infallible presentation.
