Festivals have been an integral part of India’s 'unity in diversity'. The amalgamation of festivals, one celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna along with the Independence Day of India, was recently celebrated with unmatched fervour at Presidium, Faridabad. The special assembly started with the hoisting of the tricolour flag by our school's respected VP, Ms. Madhu Pandey, followed by a heartwarming prayer to awaken the almighty to shower his choicest blessings. Our talented Presidians won the hearts of spectators as they danced on occasional songs, dressed in the attire of Krishna and Gopikas. Singing an enticing Krishna bhajan and the soulful ‘hare Krishna, hare Rama’ chants added to the ecstasy and majesty of the assembly. An instrumental piece on the tunes of 'Vande Matram' was also presented by the students to create an atmosphere of national pride. The assembly evoked awareness among the students about Indian tradition, culture and liberty.
